August 1st is the actual anniversary of the original “experimental” camp on Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour in UK.

Today around the world, celebrations and reenactments have been taking place, including the reenactment on Brownsea Island as part of the World Jamboree, and a range of other activities around Australia and in many other countries.
